Julie Harris, originally born in Canada, came to New York City to pursue her passion for makeup. She began her career assisting the famed makeup artist Pat McGrath, working side by side for seven years on high fashion ad campaigns and designer shows around the world including Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace and Valentino. Through her experience working on high profile couture collaborations, Harris established a diverse celebrity clientele base including Allison Williams, Rita Wilson, Eva Mendes, Lake Bell, and Ashley Greene. Harris’s skilled hands have also created looks for many advertising clients including Simple Skincare, Bergdorf Goodman, Emporio Armani, Holt Renfrew, Loeffler Randall, H&M, Knix, and more. Her work has been featured in today’s top editorials including Vogue, ELLE, Nylon, L’Official, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire.
Julie’s foundation for makeup has always been built upon a love for skincare including early specialized training in European techniques which helped define her expertise in beautiful, healthy and glowing skin while running her own Aesthetician business for over 10 years. Her easy-going personality and eye for fresh faces continues to keep her as one of today’s most coveted make-up artists. She currently lives between New York City and Toronto, and works bi-coastally.
With an evolving passion and extensive expertise in makeup, skincare as well as hairstyling, Julie continues to establish exciting upcoming collaborations with new faces, creative projects, tutorials, workshops and private lessons to enhance the beauty we see and feel, one brush stroke at a time.
